Furnishings and Fabric Level 3 Project
Some of my Final Design Work

Selection of sketch book work

This project was to produce a collection of designs for the commercial market of the Furnishings and Home Interior. In completing the project it allowed me to research and develop my own range of interior textiles designed specifically for a bedroom. This included Curtains, Furnishings, Duvets and Pillowcases and Home accessories.
Market trends and colour forecasts were researched in consideration for the design of my final co-ordinating interior collection. I wanted the designs to work together as a collective group but be interesting in their own right of be capable of being used separately.

Surface Pattern Project
Sketch Book development work

The brief was a self directed brief in which I decided to design a range of surface patterns that could be applied to wrapping paper (see wrapping paper designs/prototypes above in slide.)
Using a variety of techniques in the research stage including textiles, drawing, painting and CAD allowed me to produce a range of designs for the brief.
